Sonshine’s Family Partners help balance the family budget by giving regular tax-deductible support to Sonshine’s ministry, ensuring that we can share more hope, and grow the family.
You can spread your giving across the year with regular, manageable contributions. Partner with us in sharing hope, by becoming a Sonshine Family Partner. You can choose to give $30, $50, $100, or any other amount you choose each month.
Why become a Family Partner?
Sonshine is a community funded media ministry. Over half of our annual income is received through the faithful giving of people who share our vision and mission. Family Partners give us some certainty of income to meet the ongoing expenses of introducing hope to people in Perth, Western Australia, and beyond.

Family Partners FAQs
Family Partners are people who decide up-front on an annual amount they wish to donate to Sonshine, and then spread their gift out, usually over monthly instalments. Their donation is made via credit card or direct debit on a preferred day each month.
You can arrange whatever amount and frequency of giving best suits your circumstances. Many of our Family Partners choose to give monthly, but some give fortnightly, quarterly, half yearly and even annually.
Yes. All donations to Sonshine are fully tax deductible.
Family Partners receive written confirmation when their pledge is set up, then, in early July each year, all Family Partners receive a receipt with a total of their donations for the financial year. The receipt is sent to the preferred email or postal address. If a receipt is ever lost, it can be re-sent.
If circumstances change, the donation amount can be adjusted, suspended for a period of time, or stopped altogether. As always, giving to Sonshine is an invitation and never an obligation.
As with all donations to Sonshine, funds are used exclusively to support the operations of our media ministry. This enables Sonshine to continue to connect the people of Perth and beyond with the Christian message of hope, 24 hours day, every day of the year. It also enables us to partner with other community organisations, and promote the life-changing work they do, through the power of media.
Sonshine has regular bills it needs to pay, just like any organisation. Having Family Partners pledge their commitment in advance, and pay that pledge in regular instalments, helps with our cash-flow and gives us confidence to better plan for the future.
All donors are acknowledged when first signed up, and automatically receive our regular communications, including newsletters, emails and their annual tax receipt. We thank Family Partners on air from time to time, using only their first name and suburb if they are comfortable to be acknowledged in this way. The pledge amount is never mentioned, because the amount people are able to give is different. Every gift is celebrated, no matter how big or small.
