Last week Sonshine took part in the second annual Take Away Hunger Day, partnering with Christian radio stations right across Australia to raise much needed funds to support Feed The Hungry, as they make a powerful difference for hungry children in Uganda.
Children in refugee settlements in Uganda are among the most vulnerable in the world today. Fleeing violence, many have witnessed death and destruction. They’re hungry and desperate for safety, security and education. More than anything, they need to know where their next meal is coming from.
Your tax-deductible support through Take Away Hunger Day 2024 will provide them with the food they need to thrive, and more than that, you’ve given them an opportunity to go to school, to learn, to grow and to build a future filled with hope.
We’re so thankful to you for your support, as the Sonshine family joined together to raise enough funds to feed 6,532 children for a whole month. We can’t thank you enough, as you’ve made a world of difference to children like Angok.
