In the beginning, God created everything. That’s how the Bible starts in Genesis 1:1-3. It’s the foundation of everything we believe. Genesis is all about origins. Where we came from, where the world came from, and who made it all.
“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, ‘Let there be light’; and there was light.”
Right from the start, we see God’s power. He created everything we see. He made the world, the sky, the stars, and us. Nothing happened by accident. There is design, intelligence, and purpose behind it all.
Think about your phone. What kind do you have? Maybe an iPhone, maybe an Android. Imagine if someone told you your phone just appeared by itself. That someone threw plastic, glass, and metal into a bowl, left it for three days, and out came a fully working phone. Would you believe that? No way!
Why? Because design requires a designer. Your phone is detailed, functional, and carefully crafted. The same is true for you. If you stretched out all the DNA in your body, it would reach about 6.2 billion kilometres!
That kind of complexity doesn’t just happen by chance. You are not an accident. You are not a random collection of atoms. God created you with purpose. That means your life matters. Your choices matter. And best of all, you can know your purpose when you draw near to God.
The good news? Jesus makes that possible. He gives us direct access to God, the One who created us. When we accept Him, we step into the life God designed for us. That’s something to celebrate!
God is in every detail of your life. He sees you, knows you, and has a plan for you. Trust Him today!
