Sonshine is Perth’s leading family friendly radio station. We are a Christian, not-for-profit, community radio station that is passionate about making a difference in people’s lives. We connect with over 350,000 listeners every month to bring them entertainment, engagement, hope and encouragement through our content on FM, DAB+, web, app and social media.

We’re looking for a passionate Media Sales Consultant to connect local Perth businesses with our loyal, engaged listeners. You’ll get to craft and sell media packages to help businesses share their products and services with our loyal Sonshine audience. The success of this role directly supports Sonshine’s mission to positively impact the people of WA.

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

  • A passion for Sonshine’s mission and community radio.
  • Proven sales experience – media, radio, advertising, sponsorship, B2B or related field preferred but not essential.
  • Able to build rapport with new clients and grow and deepen relationships with existing clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to cold-call, network, understand customer business needs, and present to business owners and decision-makers.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working independently in a small team environment.
  • Valid Australian driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle (frequent local travel for client meetings is typical).
