Are you highly organised, detail-focused, and passionate about seeing community radio make a real difference? Sonshine FM is looking for a Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our Sponsorship team and help us keep growing our positive impact across Western Australia.
Sonshine is Perth’s leading family friendly radio station. We are a Christian, not-for-profit, community radio station that is passionate about making a difference in people’s lives. We connect with over 360,000 listeners every month to bring them entertainment, engagement, hope and encouragement through our content on FM, DAB+, web, app and social media.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of how Sonshine connects with its business sponsors and its listeners — from getting sponsorship orders on air, to helping market our sponsorship opportunities, to running promotions that get both businesses and our audience involved.
You’ll be a key contributor to the effective running of the Sponsorship team across three main areas: scheduling and reporting sponsorship orders, contributing to sponsorship marketing, and managing promotions.
About You
The successful candidate will be:
- Genuinely passionate about Sonshine’s mission and the role we play in people’s lives
- A self-starter who takes ownership and follows through on the details
- Calm and methodical, even when juggling multiple orders and deadlines
- A clear, confident communicator who builds good working relationships
- Comfortable working across systems and processes, with a knack for keeping things accurate and on track
- A team player who’s also happy working independently on their own tasks
- Capable with Microsoft Office suite and databases
Nice to Have
- Experience in events management (we have a couple a year)
- An understanding of marketing and content writing
- Previous experience in radio, media sales, digital advertising or event sponsorship
- Experience with radio and social media
- Basic audio editing skills
