Romans 15:13 “I pray that the God who gives hope will fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Listen: The God of All Hope

Have you ever stopped to think about the impression you leave on others? When people interact with you, do they experience joy or frustration, kindness or indifference? It’s a thought worth pondering.

At the end of the day, I often reflect on my interactions. Did I uplift my wife and show her love, or was I too short with her? During that video call with the team in India, did I make them feel valued, or was I overly transactional?

Asking ourselves these questions is a good practice. We all have personal quirks that can unintentionally affect others. That’s why we need help – a source of strength and transformation that can shape us into better versions of ourselves, naturally influencing those we meet.

Romans 15:13 reminds us that God, the source of all hope, can fill us with joy and peace when we trust in Him. This isn’t just a fleeting feeling; it’s a transformative power. When we trust Him, hope overflows in our lives through the Holy Spirit’s work.

This divine hope changes us. It impacts how we interact with others and the effect we have on their lives. Trusting in God allows His joy and peace to shine through us effortlessly, making a lasting difference.

That’s the power of God’s Word—fresh and alive for you, today.
