Doug from Table Talk sat down with a few participants of Deal it Forward as they announced the final winners of the gifts dealt forward.
It Started with a Pen

Chris was the first to volunteer his coin set in exchange for the pen. He sat alongside Suzie, who exchanged a ruby necklace set for a guitar. Rose got Suzie’s ruby set and dealt forward an overnight stay at her beach front home in Cottesloe.
A Ruby Set for a Cottesloe Stay

Blessed to be a Blessing
Anticipation was in the air as Doug and his generous helpers pulled out names from the gift bag to reveal who would receive the final blessings. 13 gift vouchers, valued at $100, 2 large food hampers, a replica Batmobile, a ladies push bike with helmet and lock, a Lego Taj Mahal, a one-night stay in Cottesloe and a Mercedes Benz.
Levi Price was the recipient of the one-night stay in Cottesloe, gifted by Rose.
“He is a hard-worker, everyone just loves him,” said his mother, Kristy, who nominated him.
“I have lots of people come up and tell me how lovely he is.”
Generous Gifts
The generosity of the community was so overwhelming to Doug and the team. The studio filled with contagious joy over the blessings going out. Doug became emotional by the impact of this cause and how it took off from an idea that he and Producer Bec cooked up.
“We want to say thank you to everyone that has jumped on board and nominated someone,” said Doug.
“It is a fully God-breathed process,” added Producer Bec. “We are trusting that He has His hand on all of this and we are just the vessels of these blessings.”
From Coins to a Car
“We didn’t know if we were going to get traction,” said Doug through tears, “When the car came into play a couple of weeks ago, I knew I wanted Chris to be the one to bless someone because he started this whole process.”

Chris was also able to share a testimony on the reason he had it on his heart to donate the coin set.
“The Holy Spirit put on my heart that it is not about the dollar value or the quantity,” said Chris. “It’s about giving and I have been so blessed in life.”
“God got me through the most challenging times in my life and I have now been given the chance to bless someone else.”
Live on Air
Rose and Suzie were both beaming with glee as Chris drew the name and Doug announced the winners. A nervous excitement filled the room as the recipient of the Mercedes Benz, was contacted live on air.

Nicola Penfold had nominated her parents Mark and Jan Fox, to receive the car, after an especially challenging year. Doug delightedly announced her parents would receive the final blessing in Deal it Forward.

“That is amazing,” said Nicola, holding back tears, “My parents are remarkable people.
“My dad used to be an on air announcer, many moons ago, funny how things come around like that,” she continued, “They have amazing hearts and always think of others, they have had a tough year, with multiple medical concerns – despite this, dad has continued to work full-time to support him & my mum.”
The room became alive with applause and celebration as Doug concluded Deal It Forward for the year.
