Since 2002, Perth-based Cosmos Alliance has served in India, Laos, Zimbabwe, Uganda, and Papua New Guinea, bringing hope and health to those who need it most.
Cosmos works where healthcare is hard to access, empowering remote communities and building capacity to improve health outcomes. Their vision is clear: they want to see lives transformed through sustainable health projects. By partnering with churches, health authorities, and like-minded organisations, they deliver holistic solutions that leave a lasting impact on individuals and communities.
Cosmos Alliance currently works alongside local organisations to deliver health and development programs.
Zimbabwe:
Since 2011, Sizolwethu Health Trust has been providing vital clinical care, specialist wound treatment, health education and surgical support to underserved rural communities around Bulawayo. They also deliver water and sanitation projects in rural schools and train locals in borehole rehabilitation.
Papua New Guinea:
Partnering with the East Sepik Provincial Health Authority since 2019, Cosmos sends volunteer teams to deliver 5-day refresher training courses for Community Health Workers (CHWs) who serve 85% of the remote population across the province.
Uganda:
In collaboration with JENGA Community Development Outreach in the regional city of Mbale, Cosmos runs a mental health awareness program, helping to reduce stigma, support caregivers, and supply vital medications to improve the well-being of mental health patients.
