How do you juggle your family budget while supporting ministries like Sonshine? Did you know that as a community broadcaster, Sonshine is required to rely on community funding? Our annual budget depends on our two, annual, on-air appeals, as well as regular contributions from supporters throughout the year.
Many people we spoke to during our recent June Appeal said they wished that they could give more. For some people, giving a larger one-off gift at appeal time that expresses their full support of Sonshine can be difficult.
Sonshine’s Family Partners plan their giving across the year, making regular, manageable, tax-deductible contributions. As well as helping you balance your budget, knowing that we have partners pledging ongoing support helps provide us with a level of financial certainty.
During August, we’re hoping to see our Family Partners increase by 100.
Will you be one of the 100? So far we’ve added 27 new partners. It’s completely up to you how much you’d like to give. It might be $30 a month, $50, $100 or any other amount.
