Daniel Principe, from Collective Shout, is not afraid to tackle the tough topics facing 21st Century kids, like pornography and toxic masculinity.

Collective Shout is a grassroots campaign movement against the objectification of women and the sexualisation of girls. For the last few months, Daniel has been travelling around Australia equipping young people, teachers and parents to navigate the challenges of a hyper-sexualised world, make healthy decisions and form respectful relationships.

We always receive so much positive feedback from listeners every fortnight when Daniel joins Mike to share his advice. Nicola has a 13-year-old daughter and a 15-year-old son and felt blessed when Daniel spoke at her children’s school. “It’s just really powerful. I feel so blessed that you are such an inspirational role model to my children.”

Countless 98five listeners are impacted by weekly guests like Daniel, who give their advice on a range of issues.

This radio station is willing to have these conversations to equip parents, to encourage one another, to put the rights and wellbeing of children firstOn behalf of the team at Collective Shout we are so grateful for these opportunities because it is a collaboration it is a partnership. I really respect the fact that people are courageous enough as individuals and organisations to have these conversations.”

With the support of our listeners over the last 34 years we have grown to become more than just a local community radio station. Not only do we reach more than 250,000 listeners every month on air, but now we also have an actively engaged following of more than 240,000 each month through our website and social media! We are able to reach people wherever they are, whether they’re in their car listening to the radio or scrolling through their Instagram feed before they go to bed, we can make this amazing message of life-changing hope seen and heard.

Will you partner with 98five to share hope for all to see and hear?
