We have some bittersweet news to share with our Sonshine family. BT, the guy you always want on your trivia team and the host who brings you pop culture, new music, and the perfect afternoon soundtrack, has announced that this week will be his last on-air, but he will still be part of the family!
BT has decided to step back from his afternoon role to focus more on his family and home life. While he has cherished his time connecting with you every day, he feels the time has come to prioritize his loved ones. “Over the last little while, it has become pretty clear that my time needs to be focused on my family and around our home,” BT shared.
However, this isn’t goodbye! BT will continue to be an integral part of Sonshine as our Music Director. He’ll be curating your favorite tracks mostly from home, ensuring the same great music you love keeps coming your way. Plus, he’ll be popping into the station regularly, so maybe we’ll be able to twist his arm to still be on-air in some way! 😉
